Week 28 Portfolio Post
This week, after thorough preparation, I took the SOLIDWORKS certification test. I had only missed a single multiple-choice question out of the entire test, including the questions, which required the making of parts and assemblies. This means that besides earning my associate's certification in SOLIDWORKS, I have the skillset to try and start learning and preparing for my professional certification test in SOLIDWORKS. This will have to be done through Linked-In Learning. Fortunately enough, Mr. Larson bought an account not only for himself, but for the class. Linked-In Learning has videos on an array of skills and topics, including 3D engineering. Over the next few weeks, I'll start preparing for the professional certification test in SOLIDWORKS.

Week 29 Portfolio Post
This week, I got started with the Linked-In learning. I wasn't able to get far because I was only in class once this week due to exams in History and Math. Of the lesson I started, it was mostly just review of tools I have already been using in SOLIDWORKS. Again, even though I may have said it in posts before, the dimensions in SOLIDWORKS allows for far easier changing of proportions in parts and is something that pushes it higher than AutoDesk Inventor.
