I finally finished my last block on Problem Set 3, Index Feed. I also finished the Axle, the Axle Support, and the Top Plate from Problem Set 4. I have started on the Wheel.

Week 11 Portfolio Post
This week, I finished the Wheel and Assembled the Wheel Assembly. I was taught how to make an orthographic view of the Wheel Assembly and I also finished that. I will start on either a piece of furniture for the house I will build in the future or I will build a catapult.

Week 12 Portfolio Post
I only had one day to work on my furniture project, which I have decided to be a bunk bed. Even though I had one day to work on it this week, I think I managed to do a good amount. I managed to finish the bed's base and I will start on the mattresses next week.

Week 13 Portfolio Post
I finished making the twin bed for the top two bunks, the queen bed for the bottom two bunks, and I assembled the bed bunk. I also assigned the materials of the bunk bed, despite not having to do so. I'm onto 3D printing my bunk bed now.

Week 14 Portfolio Post
This week I wasn't occupied with many assignments and I was only limited by how busy the 3D printer was. Although I wasn't able to get to the 3D printer, I was able to finish the Safety Key Orthographic View which I was supposed to do before Thanksgiving break. I also found out that my 'Bunk Bed Base' piece would probably be messed up because of how it isn't divided into multiple pieces.

Week 15 Portfolio Post
Last Sunday Virginia had a big snow storm starting from late December 8th and lasting till early December 10th. The snow storm brought 8 inches in the Mechanicsville area and closed Hanover County Public Schools from December 9th to December 12th; therefore, I haven't been able to do work for most of the week. What work I have done would be the worksheet packets of the Architecture: Residential Drafting and Design chapters 1-3.

Week 16 Portfolio Post
This week, the public schools were only open for three days because Thursday, December 20th was the beginning of Christmas Break. Ryan S, Addison P, and I also finished chapters 7-9 from the Architecture book. My Custom Bunk Bed was also 3D printed this week and because it wasn't multiple pieces it came out bad. I might 3D print the Bunk Bed again to see if it'll turn out better. Merry Christmas and good wishes for the following year!

Week 17 Portfolio Post
This week, Addison, Ryan, and I were introduced to AutoDesk: Revit. We were given an image of a one floor house that we copied. After finishing, we now have to create a "Dream House" in the next couple of weeks. So far, I think I will be making a transitional house.

Week 18 Portfolio Post
Addison, Ryan and I were introduced to the "Dream House" Project and given the rubric. When looking at what to do I noticed that I hadn't turned in my book work for Chapter 7,8 and 9 of the Architectural book and I hadn't finished the Chapter 9 book work either. I finished Chapter 9 and turned in all three chapter work sheets.

Week 19 Portfolio Post
This week, all of the Tech Drawing & Design classes were filled with dread for the Midterm once the Midterm Practice Sheet was handed out. I went over the review but forgot to go over the notes we had been collecting and it really showed on the Midterm Assessment. Next week the 2nd Semester starts and we will go back to our normal activities.
